![]() NORWAY POUT | The Norway Pout has three dorsal fins and two anal fins. The Noway Pout has a small underhung jaw. SIZE | The Norway Pout can grow to become 27 cm, however it’s usually 10-20 cm when it is caught. DEPTH | The Norway Pout is at the bottom and under the surface down to 300 meters, however normally not deeper than 250 meters. COLOUR | The Norway Pout is grey/brown at the back and sometimes a bit green. The sides are shiny and have a light silver colour. The belly is less shiny and lighter. It has a very small spot arount the pectoral fins. CHARACTERISTICS | The size of its eyes. The diameter size is bigger than the size of the front. The small underhung jaw is also characteristic. WHERE TO CATCH IT | The Norway Pout is common around the Faroe Islands. See also the map below. |
